The camera caught one thing.
I remember another.

Here's the idea behind this whole place. You might know what something looked like. You probably don't know what it felt like from where I was standing.

The first story we're telling

That night with Quik & Hi-C.

Front row at a show. The camera's out. A strange interaction happens. From the outside, it could look like one thing. For me, there was an entirely different reason I was standing there filming.

The real is the highlight.

The famous faces are sometimes the least interesting part. A wrong turn, a quiet thought, a ridiculous coincidence, an awful day that turned funny later. That's the stuff I want to tell you.

I'm not a character.
I'm a guy with stories.

I'm J-Tripz. Musician, writer, lifelong observer of people and situations. I've spent a lot of time trying to make sense of the world by putting it into songs.

Some of it is funny. Some of it hurt. A surprising amount of it sounds unbelievable. I don't need you to be impressed. I'd rather you see what I saw.
